The Recreation Department operates and maintains the Thamesford Outdoor Pool on George St. N. Street in Thamesford. This pool serves the residents in Thamesford, Kintore and the surrounding areas making it a busy place during the summer.  Seasonal full and part time staff work diligently to keep the pool clean and safe to provide an enjoyable facility for the public. A wide range of aquatic programs are offered by the lifeguard/swimming instructors.  The pool is also available for rent and the facilty is heated.

The 2010 pool season is from Friday, June 25 – Friday, August 20, 2010.
