The Recreation Department is responsible for the maintenance and operation of the Township’s Community Centres, numerous parks, Thamesford Outdoor Pool, Thamesford Library and Resource Centre, Embro Town Hall and the Harrington Hall.

The Zorra Recreation Advisory Committee holds meetings on a monthly basis to oversee the policies and programs and to set the direction for this Department. The Department’s goal is to ensure that all residents of Zorra, regardless of age, physical abilities, sex or other attributes, have access to the leisure opportunities that meet their needs and interests.
