FINANCIAL STATEMENT - AUDITOR'S REPORT - FORM 4
Each candidate is required to file a Form 4 prescribed by the Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing for campaign financial contributions and expenses pursuant to the provisions of Section 78 of the Municipal Elections Act, 1996. Financial statements are required to be audited if expenses or contributions exceed $10,000. All records must be retained for the term of office including the financial documents, until December 1st, 2014. Section 88(9.1) of the Municipal Elections Act, 1996 requires the Clerk to post the financial statement - auditor's report and related documends under Section 79.1 of the said Act on the municipality's website for each certified candidate.
