A person is entitled to be an elector at an election held in a local municipality, if on voting day he or she is:
- a Canadian citizen;
- at least 18 years old;
- residing in the local municipality or an owner or tenant there, or the spouse of such owner or tenant; and
- not otherwise prohibited from voting
March to August 2018: Are you on the list to vote for the upcoming municipal election?
If you are an Ontario resident over the age of 18 you can visit voterlookup.ca to confirm or update your information in a few easy steps. You can also change your school support for electoral purposes and add names to your property address. Updating this information will help to ensure that municipal Voters’ Lists are accurate and up-to-date in preparation for municipal and school board elections occurring this October.

Fall 2018: The Township of Zorra will be making a Voter Lookup Request available through the Township website to allow voters to check if they are on the Voter List. Eligible voters without computer access or who would prefer assistance are invited to call or attend at the Clerk's Office as of September, 2018 to look up if they are on the Voter List.
It is the responsibility of the Elector to ensure they are a qualified elector.
