Congratulations Julia Dimmers - Winner of the Thamesford Pool Mural Contest!
Congratulations to Julia Dimmers for her winning draft submission for the Thamesford Pool Mural!! The committee was very pleased with the drafts submitted and would like to thank Zac Demelo and Kiara Jagoe, who deserve Honourable Mentions for their excellent submissions as well. Julia and our team of artistic high school students will be painting the mural on weekends and evenings in June, so stop by the pool to watch their progress.  All high school students who are available evenings and Saturdays in June and are interested in helping with this project please contact Wendi Jackson 519-283-6028 or by email. New Member needed for Zorra Recreation Advisory Committee
The Township Council is seeking one Zorra resident to serve on the Zorra Recreation Advisory Committee (ZRAC).  The Committee is responsible for providing public input on the delivery of the Township’s recreation system. The Committee meets on a monthly basis as well as occasional special meetings. Familiarity with the Township’s Recreation Department would be preferable. Applications received until May 25, 2012. Municipal Alcohol Policy
A revised Municipal Alcohol Policy was approved by Council at the regular Council meeting held on May 1, 2012.  This policy takes effect immediately.  Click here to review the new policy for Zorra Township.


Proposed Landfill in Zorra - Niagara Campus Tours
