Zorra Township is a rural municipality located at the north-west corner of Oxford County.  The Township is comprised of several rural clusters and two serviced villages.  The population of Zorra Township is 8,058, with a total land area of 529 square kilometres.

Committee Vacancies

Township of Zorra Council is seeking individuals to fill vacancies on the following committees:

  • Fence Viewers
  • Zorra Recreation Advisory Committee
  • Embro Cemetery Board
  • Zorra Community Policing Committee

Winter Parking Restrictions

Winter parking restrictions are now in effect.  No parking on any street from 1am to 8am.  Set fine is $50.00.

2014 Oxford Stewardship Award

CO Detectors Now Mandatory in All Ontario Homes

The Ontario Government announced the release of the anticipated Carbon Monoxide Regulations today, following consultation with stakeholders as part of the technical advisory committee process.  The Ontario Association of Fire Chiefs was a principle stakeholder in that process.  Read the announcement here.

Kidde Recalls Smoke Alarms
